Gethsemane is the first painting I've done that has a religious theme. I started this painting thinking it was going to be a floral, but the male figure kept coming out. This image seemed to paint itself. When I was done, I realized what it was, thus the title. This is a very unique painting, one of the most dramatic I've ever painted.
Carina is a little watercolor portrait I did of my daughter when she was a little girl. It's not for sale, but I like it and want you to see it.
Don is a pastel portrait of my husband, and is also not for sale. It was my first pastel painting. I plan to do more portraits.
Waiting & Watching was painted using oil bars, which was an interesting experience. Oil bars are a very portable medium. You don't need brushes. It's like painting with a big, fat, oily crayon. I liked working with them, so I plan to do more oil bar paintings.
